Sound of Himalaya Retreats

Need a break from the fast-paced city life?

We invite you to visit our Meditation Center & Eco Farm nestled into the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal, where lush jungle meets the highest mountain peaks on earth. No cars, no noise and no air pollution. Untouched nature is treating us with breathtaking mountain views that invite to reflect, to listen and to see …

Not sure for how long to stay? How to get to our place? What’s the cost? We are happy to answer your questions:

Duration of your stay

You can decide for how long you would like to join us in our little nature paradise. Normally we recommend a stay between 3 - 7 days.

How to get up the mountain?

From the city of Pokhara it‘s a 30 min taxi ride, followed by a steep 2 hour hike up the mountain through local Nepali villages. Of course we will join and guide you on that hike, you won’t have to do this by yourself. If you have heavy luggage, not much time, or just not so fit anymore, we can organize a Jeep transfer directly from your accommodation in Pokhara.

What’s the cost?

That depends on how long you would like to stay, and what your travel preferences are. Just send us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Note from our 💚

Our Meditation Retreats here in Nepal are very much connected to nature, under living conditions in traditional Himalayan style. We have comfortable mattresses, beds, hot showers and so on, but I want you to know that we are living authentically and sustainably up in the mountains together with the local Nepalese people. There are animals and insects around our farm, that are part of nature just like you. By joining us up here you support the village community, school development projects, the owner of the land and many other brothers and sisters, who help us every day to provide an authentic Nepali experience.

Every fire we light for cooking or making tea requires us to carry wood from the forest by hand. All the food you will enjoy comes directly from our gardens, organically and traditionally farmed, which takes an all year around care. You will have the opportunity to learn about Ayurvedic herbal medicine, permaculture, traditional farming methods and balancing of ecosystems. You can learn how to make butter, ghee and how to grow all kinds of fruits and vegetables in a purely organic way. Have a look at more photos of our environment by clicking the button below.
