Alumni Story
When I was doing my Yoga TTC in Rishikesh India, Iโve had the opportunity to experience a sound healing session for the first time, and that experience sparked my interest in the world of singing bowls. In September 2024, I joined a sound healing training at Sound of Himalaya. I still clearly remember the moment I arrived after a long and bumpy jeep ride up the mountain roads. I was welcomed with warm smiles and such beautiful vibes that I instantly felt at home. The training itself was fascinating. At first, I couldn't even play the bowls properly, but as I spent more time with them, I began to connect with their unique vibrations and found myself creating increasingly beautiful sounds. The whole experience was filled with calm, supportive vibes that made learning both enjoyable and inspiring.
By the final day, I had decided to purchase a full set of seven chakra singing bowls.
Today, singing bowls have become an essential part of my life and my yoga offerings. I regularly share sound baths during the final relaxation portion of my classes, and my students often tell me they experience deep relaxation, a refreshing sense of clarity afterward, or simply wish the experience could last longer. Some have even shared that they felt a noticeable release when certain bowls resonated with them.
The knowledge, experience, and beautiful vibes I received at Sound of Himalaya continue to inspire me every time I play my bowls.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the world of singing bowls and sound healing in an authentic and welcoming environment.
