Alumni Story

My journey with the singing bowl began with a simple intuition - a feeling that sound could offer something deeper than words. After 2 decades in the corporate world, I found myself searching for stillness, balance and a greater sense of connection. I was drawn to the gentle resonance of singing bowls and how their vibrations could quiet the mind and create space to simply breathe and be. What began as a personal experience grew into a deeper calling. I travelled to Nepal to deepen my knowledge of sound healing and mindfulness, learning in the presence of the magnificent Himalayas.

My journey continued with Sound of Himalaya, where I further developed my practice and understanding of the bowls and their ancient traditions. Today, through ATH.ISA Sound Wellness, I weave sound healing and mindfulness into my sessions, corporate programmes and community experiences. My intention is simple: to create a safe space for people to slow down, reconnect and experience stillness.

The most rewarding part is hearing clients share that they feel calmer, lighter, more grounded and able to switch off after a session. For me, this journey has become much more than learning an instrument. It has given me a sense of purpose and meaning β€” and I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to use sound to create moments of stillness and positively impact the lives of others.
